On 11 September 2025, our journey reached a new milestone: we were featured on VTM, one of Flanders' biggest TV channels. Seeing our community, the skill toy we love and our ambitions for kendama across Belgium and Europe on national television was nothing short of surreal.

From small beginnings to national television
One of the most beautiful parts of this experience was how our story was told. Viewers saw how KIN began as an idea between friends, nothing more than curiosity and passion, and how it grew into one of the most active kendama communities in Belgium. They saw how we train, how we support each other and how newcomers become part of the crew almost instantly.
A breakthrough moment for kendama in Belgium and Europe
Being featured on VTM means more than airtime: it means recognition. Kendama is slowly finding its place in Belgian culture. The toy with the ball and the cups is now something people talk about, try and get curious about. And curiosity brings new players, grows communities and builds momentum.
