EKC Prelims 2026: Insane Freestyle Battles to Kick Off the year

The EKC (European Kendama Championship) Prelims 2026 went down on January 10th, and it was the perfect way to start the new kendama championship season. Players from across the scene showed up ready to push limits and the level of freestyle kendama was next-level from start to finish.

Freestyle Kendama at Its Best

The freestyle battles during the EKC Prelims were absolutely insane. Creative lines, technical control, and high-pressure moments filled every round. This event is a smaller PRE-EKC event to qualify players in the top 16 Freestyle competition at EKC in May 2026. This were the final results:

After an intense series of freestyle kendama battles, the podium was locked in:

  • 1st Place: Yasu (Krom Kendama)

  • 2nd Place: Miguel de la Torre (Erraticsquirrel)

  • 3rd Place: Nonoka (Krom Kendama)

Yasu took the win with powerful runs and clean execution, while Miguel de la Torre and Nonoka delivered standout performances that kept the finals exciting until the very end.
